Er komt speciale uitgave van Total Film. Ook nieuwe foto`s en Smirnoff presenteert QOS producten. My Word Is My Bond als luisterboek.

Speciale uitgave Total Film

Total Film presenteerde eerder al ter gelegenheid van het Ian Fleming Centenary jaar een  speciale versie van het blad met verschillende covers. Dit was de Total Film Special James Bondcovers. Hij bestond uit de eenentwintig films. Als u in die periode abonnee werd kreeg u bovendien ook nog de speciale gouden Goldfinger uitgave. De andere versies waren in zilver uitgevoerd.

Nu is dus de film Quantum Of Solace aan de beurt. In het nummer van oktober 2008 dat nu in de winkel ligt staat een interview met Olga Kurylenko die de rol van Camille speelt. Voor november heeft men een tien pagina`s tellende special gemaakt. Het bevat verschillende nieuwe foto`s en dingen die u misschien niet wilt weten en welke het verhaal deels verraden. Dit worden Spoilers genoemd.

Aantal nieuwe foto`s beschikbaar

Via Comingsoon.net kunt u een aantal nieuwe foto`s van Quantum Of Solace bekijken. We zien op de foto`s onder andere James Bond in zijn Aston Martin DBS rijden met twee Alfa Romeo`s achter zich aan. Ook komt Bond voorbij in een speedboot. Camille staat op de foto in actie. En we zien onder andere ook Marc Forster, regisseur van de film, bij de Tosca Opera in Bregenz, Oostenrijk op de Seebuhne en Bond en Camille in de Chileense woestijn. De foto`s zijn hier te bekijken.

Smirnoff artikelen

Het Amerikaanse wodkamerk Smirnoff is zoals altijd partner van James Bond zijn nieuwe film Quantum Of Solace. De samenwerking tussen Smirnoff en James Bond duurt nu al bijna vijftig jaar. Bond drinkt zijn wodka`s andermaal shaken…not stirred.  Eerder dit jaar lanceerde het merk al drie nieuwe cocktails. Het ging om de Vesper, de 007 Shaken Not Stirred Martini en de Quantum Of Solace.

Nu is er meer bekend van de deal. Zo komt het merk met een speciale cocktailshaker voor op reis. Dit is de Travel Retail Smirnoff Black Limited Edition. Op de ene kant staat het logo van Smirnoff op de ander het logo van Quantum Of Solace. De promotiecampagne begint in oktober. Dan verschijnen er naast de shaker nog een tweetal nieuwe cocktails. Dit zijn de Black Martini en de Quantum Of Solace. De eerder genoemde cocktails Vesper en 007 Shaken Not Stirred zijn al verkrijgbaar.  Het persbericht vind u onderaan dit artikel.

My Word Is My Bond

De biografie van Sir Roger Moore My Word Is My Bond verschijnt ook als luisterboek. Het duurt twee uur en dertig minuten en wordt ingesproken door niemand minder dan Sir Roger Moore zelf. Het luisterboek verschijnt op 9 oktober in Groot Brittannië en word uitgegeven door BBC Audiobooks. Het is ook mogeljk om het luisterboek te downloaden. Dit kost 9 pond. Voor het luisterboek betaald u 12 pond 99.

My Word Is My Bond verschijnt ook in Nederland onder de titel Voor Altijd James Bond bij Uitgeverij Forum. Of er ook een Nederlandse versie van het luisterboek verschijnt is niet bekend.

My Word Is My Bond verschijnt in boekvorm op 2 oktober in Groot Brittanie en op 4 november in de Verenigde Staten. Nederland  is in oktober aan de beurt. In het persbericht staat een kleine fout. James Bond blies niet in Live And Let Die (1973) Scaramanga`s basis op maar in The Man With The Golden Gun (1974).

Smirnoff Shaken Not Stirred By New James Bond Film

Diageo-owned Smirnoff Vodka has announced its official partnership with the world’s most famous secret agent in the next James Bond film, Quantum of Solace, which is set for global release in November 2008. The partnership will see James Bond-inspired initiatives from Smirnoff in markets worldwide.

The promotional campaign begins in October 2008 with the Travel Retail Smirnoff Black limited-edition cocktail shaker at the heart of the campaign. The stainless steel cocktail shaker encases a 70cl bottle of Smirnoff Black vodka.

Diageo GTME Marketing Director Nick Robinson said the campaign would provide “exceptional support” to the Smirnoff brand and enhance the in-store experience: “James Bond and Quantum of Solace provide the ideal opportunity to reach our key target market and enhance perceptions of the brand. This powerful campaign emphasises the premiumisation potential across our vodka portfolio in the year ahead.”

The global marketing campaign will include a broadcast advertising campaign, on- and off-premise promotions, a public relations campaign and digital campaign linked to the Smirnoff website (www.smirnoff.com).

“Almost half a century since the debut of the ‘shaken not stirred’ vodka martini, Smirnoff and James Bond are still the perfect match: two bold, iconic brands that epitomise originality and authenticity,” said Diageo Global Senior Vice-President Philip Gladman. “This renewed partnership gives vodka drinkers around the world a taste of the Bond lifestyle, from cocktails to prestigious VIP premieres.”

Produced by Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli for EON Productions and distributed by Sony Pictures Entertainment, Quantum of Solace follows the last Bond film, Casino Royale, in which Smirnoff was also an official partner. The partnership marks almost 50 years of collaboration between the Smirnoff brand and the 007 franchise.

The brand made its original appearance alongside Bond in Dr No, the first James Bond movie, which premiered in 1962. Sean Connery’s request for a “martini, shaken not stirred” made with Smirnoff vodka helped change how people made 007’s favourite cocktail—from using traditional gin to making it vodka-based.

Inspired by Quantum of Solace, The Quantum of Solace and The Black Martini are the newest Smirnoff cocktails.
