Details Blu-ray-set

Er is meer bekend gemaakt over de speciale Blu-ray-set, welke in september verschijnt ter gelegenheid van het 50-jarige jubileum. Hieronder een uitgebreid overzicht van de extra’s welke op de Blu-ray’s te vinden zijn. Deze zijn, net als de film, in HD-kwaliteit. Naast de films omvat de set nog een 23e disk, met hierop nog drie documentaires: The World of Bond, Being Bond en Skyfall videoblogs.

The World of Bond
Deze eerste documentaire is een ode aan alles wat Bond is: de auto’s, de vrouwen, de slechteriken, maar ook de muziek. In een film is aansluitend de beste elementen uit 50 jaar James Bond aan elkaar gemonteerd. Voor de echte fans is er de mogelijkheid om een trivia te spelen om je kennis van Bond te testen en te vergroten. Being Bond is een heel ander verhaal. Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan en Daniel Craig kijken terug op hun rol als James Bond, wat de impact is aan hun draai die ze gegeven hebben aan deze belangrijke rol. En als laatste een blik achter de schermen bij Skyfall.
