The Bondstars day will kick-off with morning coffee in the John Barry Theatre and terrace – which faces the new ‘Sean Connery Stage’ – followed by the first ever UK cinema screening of the original 1954 version of Casino Royale, plus an exclusive and never-before-seen filmed interview with Jimmy Bond himself, actor Barry Nelson discussing the production.

We’ll continue day in the theatre. 

With readings of extracts from books by Bond actors throughout, as we introduce: Jon Turner to discuss his mentor Richard Chopping’s designs for Fleming’s James Bond books and archive (which he curates) as well as Ian Fleming biographer Andrew Lycett will discussing all things Ian Fleming.

David Lowbridge-Ellis will then host interviews and discussions with continuation authors Raymond Benson, Young Bond author Charlie Higson, Double-O series author Kim Sherwood, Steve Cole, also Young Bond, and (pending filming commitments) Anthony Horowitz.

Lunch and filming locations

Lunch will follow and then we’ll move into the Pinewood Picture Gallery for book signings, mingling, informal chat, some memorabilia tables and a talk about Pinewood filming locations by author Dave Worrall on the garden patio, before afternoon tea brings the Bondstars day to a close.

There’ll also be a 24 page exclusive commemorative souvenir brochure included.

The cost per ticket will be around £175.00 (excluding a non-refundable booking fee if you pay by debit / credit card).

Bondstars is een groot management bureau speciaal voor James Bond acteurs en actrices. Dit resulteert in een zeer uitgebreide portfolio met veel sterren waaronder Richard Kiel, Caroline Bliss, Honor Blackman en Sir Roger Moore.

Men organiseert elke jaar één of twee evenementen. Vorig jaar was het thema The Spy Who Loved Me met een diner waar Sir Roger Moore en zijn vrouw bij aanwezig waren. Ook een groot deel van de crew was er samen met ruim honderd liefhebbers.

Dit jaar organiseert Bondstars een barbecue. Thema van dit event is From Russia With Love. De favoriete film van Albert R. “Chubby” Broccoli. Samen met een gids maakt u de beroemde studiotour over het Pinewood Studioterrein dat normaal nooit toegankelijk is voor onbevoegden. We spreken uit ervaring dat dit een geweldige tour is.

Samen met (op dit moment) veertien gasten gaat u in de middag barbecueën. Daarna is er een voorstelling van de film in het mooie theater van de studio.
